Welcome to Pike County Water Authority

Pike County Water Authority has provided quality drinking water to the citizens of Pike County since 1974.  We have over 800 miles of pipe and currently serve about 3820 active customers.  The Authority has seven water storage towers and seven groundwater wells.  We have 1,870,000 gallons storage capacity, our pumping capacity a day is 3,090,000 gallons a day.  We treat our water with chlorine at all locations and polyphospate at our Sandfield site to sequester iron.

The Authority’s employees strive to provide the best service to the citizens of Pike County.  We have eight full time employees and after hour emergency response to ensure that our customers' needs are always met.

What's New

January 28, 2014

We would like to remind our customers to take precautions due to the extreme cold weather we will be experiencing tonight and tomorrow.  We would also like to remind you that our service department will be at the same disadvantage as everyone else in our county and we will be on call for emergencies only.  Allowing water to run should keep pipes and meters from freezing up during the cold.
